Types of personal data
We process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.
Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
- Company
- First and last name and
- gender
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by indicating your function or expressing your product interest. This can be indicated by you via the website, in correspondence or by telephone.
- Details about your activities on our website
- Internet browser and device-type.
A number of personal data are listed on the website as a mandatory field (indicated by an asterisk [*] ). This mandatory information is necessary in order to be able to provide the requested services, such as sending information or quotation.
We would like to point out that even if you as a business customer visit the website, we consider this data to be (indirect) personal data and therefore we guarantee your privacy.
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify that a visitor is over 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are satisfied that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us through info@wemeco.pl, we will delete this information.
Purpose for processing personal data
Data that you provide to Wemeco Products through the website is processed by us for general business purposes such as providing information about certain products and services. With the stored personal data we can then contact you.
Your data can also be used to send digital newsletters, insofar as you have given your explicit consent. We consider this form of contact to be Wemeco Products BV.’s legitimate interest. We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Send a quote.
- Send our newsletter.
- You can call or e-mail if this is necessary to perform our services.
- Inform you about changes to our services and products.
- To deliver goods and services to you.
How long we keep the personal data
Wemeco Products BV does not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary in order to achieve the goals for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:
- Newsletters: When you write out a newsletter, your data related to this newsletter will be deleted no later than two weeks after an opt-out.
- In the case of an information request, quotation or brochure request, your data will not be stored for more than seven years.
- If a relationship arises, for example due to the purchase of a product or product sample, the data will be stored for the duration of the relationship plus a maximum of seven years after the end of the relationship.
Sharing personal data with third parties
We will share your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary to carry out the contract and to comply with any legal obligation. With companies that process your data in our remit, we enter into a Processor Agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing operations.
Third parties and purpose of data sharing:
- Division with commissioned consultants and parties with the aim; mailings, to improve the website(s) (e.g. to check and improve forms on the website). This user(s) will also have access to the Google Analytics data of our website, in order to improve the user experience and conversion registration within the website.
- Inclusion of data in our (online) ERP/CRM package with the aim of sending you the information/materials you want, such as quotations, being able to send you our newsletter, calling or emailing you if necessary to perform our services, informing you about changes to our services and products, or delivering goods and services to you.
- Products may be shipped directly to you from a production facility. In that case, we will also share the necessary delivery information to the relevant (foreign) establishment.
- If the delivery is provided by an external logistics service provider, we will share the necessary delivery information to the relevant (foreign) branch.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
Our website uses technical, functional, Analytics and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone on the first visit to this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and your ease of use. They make sure the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferred settings. It also allows us to further optimize our website and show you appropriate information on third-party websites. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser to stop storing cookies. Also, in many browsers you can indicate that you no longer want cross-site tracking so that tracking cookies are not loaded. In addition, you can delete all information previously stored through your browser’s settings.
Google Analytics
The Analytics cookies we use are from Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. For proper processing, in accordance with privacy law, we have entered into a processor agreement with Google. Within Google Analytics, we have had the IP addresses anonymized and the data sharing with Google has been turned off. It also does not use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to revoke your possible consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Wemeco Products BV and you have the right to data transferability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we have about you in a computer file to you or another organisation you have mentioned.
You may send a request for access, correction, deletion, data isocation of your personal data or request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@wemeco.pl.
To be sure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Social Security number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, but within four weeks, at your request.

Wemeco Poland Sp. z o.o. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
